An Ocean Of Sound: World Music Day Special
Sail the sonic seas around the world and beyond this World Music Day with IndiEarth’s World Music Day Special. We at IndiEarth are celebrating with a one hour long compilation that features independent artists from remote corners of the globe who are pushing the boundaries of genre and sound. The pulsating beats of Reunionnais hip hop from Alex Sorres; Bazbaz from France bringing his poetic lyrics and influences of punk rock, reggae and blues together in one space; Anthony Dassan with the rustic rhythms and powerful percussion of South Indian folk music; True Live from Australia with a funked out blend of classical jazz, hip hop and dance music; Business Class Refugees from Israel and India with their unique stamp of folk infused electronica – these are just a few of the artists who are featured on the special.
To help share the music, IndiEarth has partnered with radio stations and online artist and music platforms worldwide, including Radio City Freedom (IN), Monkey Radio (IN), Tilos Radio (Hungary), Wild City (IN), Radio Flote (IN), Triple R (Australia), Chennai Live (IN), Bol Hyderabad (IN), Hit 95 FM (IN) – who will also be airing the compilation.
But words don’t do justice to the music. Have a listen for the real experience.
And happy World Music Day from us at IndiEarth.
