Fete De La Musique: Call For Showcases!

Summer is upon us, and Chennai city will soon resonate with the sound of music! Fête de la Musique – an annual music festival that takes place on June 21^st marking the first day of summer around the world – celebrates the idea that music exists for and by everyone. To commemorate the occasion, IndiEarth is inviting bands and musicians from across Chennai to apply for the opportunity to showcase their music at the world renowned event.

Celebrated on the same day in over 460 cities in 110 countries, the vision of the festival is to bring the entire community together through the medium of music with performances and workshops at venues across the city. The weeklong music festival is celebrating its 6^th consecutive year beginning on the 17^th of June and ending on the 22^nd of June 2016 – with the joint collaboration of The Rhapsody Music Foundation, Alliance Française of Madras, Goethe-Institut Chennai, InKo Centre, KM Music Conservatory, Musee Musicals and EarthSync.
