After a great response in its inaugural year, the India Stand features again at WOMEX 2012.

Over the years, artists, labels and artist agencies from India have attended WOMEX as delegates but the overall representation has been small. Towards bringing more exposure to India’s non-mainstream music, Rhythm Riders, De Kulture, Teamwork Productions and EarthSync are committed to bringing India’s music to definitive world music platforms.

WOMEX is an international trade fair that brings together professionals from the worlds of folk, roots, ethnic and traditional music and includes concerts, conferences and documentary films, and networking that promotes music and culture across frontiers.
