IndiBite: Nucleya Releases the Monster
Indian dub/electronica producer Nucleya has just released a monster of an EP – his 7 track Koocha Monster remix EP. The EP  features remixes by six Indian and international producers, including Scottish bhangra group Tigerstyle, Indian/American musician and producer Karsh Kale, and Indian talents SICKFLIP, KAOS, Sound Avatar and Dub Sharma.

IndiBite: The F16s Flying High
The Road To Converse Rubber Tracks finale – which took place on Saturday April 19^th at Richardson & Cruddas, Mumbai – saw Chennai heroes The F 16’s emerge as the winners. The band has now won the opportunity to travel to and record at the legendary Converse Rubber Tracks studio in Brooklyn, New York. The five track album that was recorded live at the pop up studio at Road To Converse Rubber Tracks in India – featuring tracks by all the competing bands as well as bonus tracks by Pangea, Superfuzz and Zero – is available for free download here.

IndiBite: Ambiance de Danse Live
Experimental guitarist Amyt Datta and percussion prince Jivraj Singh aka Jiver have embarked upon a tour to showcase their darkly wonderful sonic journey – a collaborative project that has been two years in the making, titled Ambiance de Danse. Check out the album here. Their first tour date at Kolkatta’s Max Mueller Bhavan this past week was met with rave reviews. The next gig is scheduled for Friday, May 2^nd at The Princeton Club, Kolkatta.

IndiBite: Unplug Invasion
The Unplug Weekender Festival, scheduled for Mahabalipuram, took place this past weekend at The Park Chennai instead after the headlining act Zomboy rescheduled his India tour dates. The two day festival – renamed  The Park Invasion – was held at Aqua and The Leather Bar and saw performances by Nucleya, BLaNK, Anish Sood as Six Pack Heroes, Orchid Thief, Vijay Chawla, and many other artists.
