IndiEarth Day on Chennai Live FM

How do you celebrate Earth Day? We at IndiEarth do it the only way we know how –with music.

This Earth Day – Monday, April 22nd – Chennai Live joins hands with IndiEarth – celebrating “IndiEarth Day on Chennai Live FM”.  The sonic celebrations will feature artists from the IndiEarth Out There Compilation album, and will be interspersed with a healthy dose of artist interviews, and interviews with the IndiEarth team.  The musical mayhem will continue throughout the week, with IndiEarth artists being featured each weekday on the Indian Music Hour with Rohan Sen – 4pm – 5pm.

Featuring some of the finest Indian independent talent, the sounds of these musicians draw their influences from different corners of the world – from Spanish flamenco guitar, to deep Southern American blues; classical Hindustani sitar, to contemporary Carnatic fusion.   An apt way to celebrate Earth Day – with sounds from across the globe!

It’s all unfolding, all day, on Chennai Live 104.8 FM.  So tune in – (and don’t forget to turn it up). Like, way up.  Mother Earth won’t mind.
