IndiEarth XChange Workshops – Registrations Now Open!
Not only do we have a colourful selection of independent film and music showcases for you at this year’s IndiEarth XChange – we will also be conducting a series of educational workshops for musicians, filmmakers, artists, and the general public – designed to improve your skills, offer you access to insider industry tips and knowledge, and give you the chance to meet some incredible artists.
Oh, and it’s all free.
The workshops will be conducted by renowned musicians, filmmakers, and experts from the industry – and will blend theoretical knowledge with practical hands on information and skills. Learn how to record in the field in the most challenging outdoor circumstances, and incorporate these samples in your own productions – Patrick Sebag and Yotam Agam (Business Class Refugees) with Yoav Rosenthal (EarthSync/EarthMoments) will show you how, and share their personal experiences. Improve how you connect with your audiences during a your next gig – guitar maestro Prasanna shares his secrets. Get insider tips on sculpting a story from raw footage in a workshop with renowned editor Arturo Calvete and filmmaker Ramakrishna D. Create a track from scratch with Nucleya, learn how to sound good on a budget with internationally renowned producer and musician Ed DeGenaro who has worked with the finest musicians from all around the world; and finally, set up your own home studio with Didier Weiss – the possibilities are endless!
