IOMMA 2015: Your Chance To Perform!
The call for showcases for IOMMA 2015 is now open!
IndiEarth, in collaboration with IOMMA (Indian Ocean Music Market), offers an exciting opportunity to India’s musicians to perform at the fourth edition of IOMMA 2015, happening in the resplendent, culturally rich Réunion Island from the 1st – 4th of June, 2015.
IOMMA was founded with the aim of creating regional networks and connecting artists and professionals from across the Indian Ocean to the world’s music industry. EarthSync through its initiative IndiEarth, has had a long standing relationship with IOMMA, and the two have been working together to create bridges between India and Réunion Island, and creating a collaborative exchange of music and culture.
In the past, this relationship is what enabled Indian electronic act Teddy Boy Kill to perform at IOMMA, which in turn led to several successful gigs for the act as well as a fruitful collaboration with Réunionnais DJ Psychorigid. Through IndiEarth’s Ticket To Write campaign, writers Mandovi Menon and Mana Dhanraj won an all-expenses paid trip to Réunion Island to cover IOMMA. With this showcase call for IOMMA 2015, IndiEarth hopes to facilitate more artistic exchanges between India and Réunion Island, enabling Indian musicians to showcase their craft on the international stage.

- Please note, application for IOMMA through the IndiEarth website is applicable only to Indian artists
Selection will be by a jury. If chosen, your flights, accommodation, local transfers, food and beverage and passes for the duration of the event will be covered.
