Owlscope’s “The Indian Republic” Film Contest
Kindle Magazine in association with Mumbai International Film Festival (MIFF), The Root, IAWRT (International Association of Women in Radio and Television) and IndiEarth brings you their first international documentary film festival – ‘Owl Scope: X-Rays of A Republic’.
As part of the documentary festival, Kindle Magazine has thrown the doors wide open for independent filmmakers to submit their entries and participate in ‘The Indian Republic – A Report’ – a short film contest.
This is your moment to tell the world what the Indian Republic means to you – through your lens. No selection criteria have been outlined, so spread the word and start shooting!
The judges for this competition are:
Q, renowned director of the internationally acclaimed ‘Gandu’, ‘Love in India’, soon to be released ‘Tasher Desh’ among others.
Aamir Bashir, actor and director of internationally acclaimed ‘Harud’.
Details of the competition:
TOPIC – “The Indian Republic: A Report”
DEADLINE – 20th March, 2013 – Midnight
DURATION – 3-5mins
The shooting medium is NOT a judging criterion (cell phones, spy camsOnce, DSLRs or any other type of camera)
The WINNING film will be screened on the inaugural day of the festival among other attractive prizes.
Selected films will also win an opportunity to be screened at upcoming IndiEarth screenings.

2. Register as FILMMAKER
3. Upload your footage of ‘The Indian Republic: A Report’
4. Send us an email to support@indiEarth.com
5. You will receive a confirmation email from us.
